NHC has a staff workforce of over 360 employees countrywide. We employ and aim at retaining highly competent, motivated professional staff in order to meet corporate goals.

Great importance is attached to staff training and development, ensuring that employees have requisite competencies to perform their work. On-the-job training is the foundation upon which all other training must depend, and we acknowledge the role our experienced staff play in training their colleagues. Management staff sign performance contracts with targets, and these form their annual appraisals.

We believe that our staff are our most valuable asset and that taking care of their welfare is the key to fully unlocking our extensive human capital.

The Company ensures equity in remuneration of employees, which includes social aspects of housing allowance; group life insurance policy, medical cover for employees and their dependants, and access to a variety of low-interest loans.
