The National Housing Corporation (NHC) is a statutory body established by an Act of Parliament, the Housing Act, Cap. 117 as was a mended in 1967. NHC's primary mandate is to play a principal role in implementing the Government’s Housing Policies and Programmes.
The Corporation Board of Directors consists of the Principal Secretary Ministry Land Housing and Urban Development, Principal Secretary The National Treasury and others appointed by the Cabinet Secretary for Land Housing and Urban Development.
